We currently have two writer's groups:
Beginning Fiction Writers--meets the 2nd and 4th Friday of every month at 3 p.m. Members are writing novels, short stories and video games. Chelley Kitzmiller leads the group. Participants are urged to bring at least 5 copies of their work in proper format to be passed out to other members for a more thorough critique. The members of this group are serious writers who want to sell their work to major publishing houses. If you are defensive of your writing or you have a thin skin, this isn't the group for you, but if you want honest criticism--it is.
Non-fiction Writers Group--meets the first Friday of every month at 1 p.m.
Local writer, Valerie Schultz, will lead the group. This a group for people wanting to write articles and columns for newspapers, essays, articles for magazines, etc. Participants are urged to bring at least 5 copies of their work in proper format for critique.
